    Great!

Overall very happy with this knife. Solid, smooth, HEAVY (in a good way), and the topographic map design is gorgeous.

My reason for only four starts may be my own ignorance; I can easily open this quickly & smoothly with one hand and using my thumb on the stud. BUT... to close it, I'm a little confused. Do I need to use my thumbnail to dig into the knife channel to release it (putting my thumb in line with the now closing blade) or is there a trick to closing it that I'm ignorant of? My way works, it just seems... wrong for a blade this nice.

I'm tempted to take it apart and solder a slightly protruding tab on the locking bit so that it's more accessible.

I get that it shouldn't be necessarily 'easy' to close so that it can stay locked during it's cutting tasks, but I keep my thumbnails trimmed and it's just difficult for me to get it to unlock. Even using both hands, I have to dig around a bit to get it unlocked so I can close it.

I'll say again that opening it is a breeze. Very smooth. This is why I suspect I'm missing something...

Like the blade. Just received and cuts well out of the box. A good feel and balance with a nice grip. Pleased with the purchase.
